Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti has congratulated Barcelona compatriot Sergio Aguero on a speedy recovery after suffering an irregular heartbeat.

Inter Milan vice president Javier Zanetti wishes Sergio Aguero a speedy recovery. The 34-year-old Barcelona forward suffered an irregular heartbeat requiring at least three months of recovery, according to Sky Sport Italia on Saturday. 

‘I hope he recovers quickly. The same thing is happening with many footballers. And I hope we can find a solution so that they can play football with peace of mind.’

‘It’s something we have to study. I send my hugs to him and to all the players who have been through the same issue,’ Zanetti said.

Inter Milan are facing a similar problem, with Christian Eriksen still struggling to recover. It’s been since the 29-year-old midfielder succumbed to the Euro 2020 finals due to a sudden cardiac arrest in Denmark vs Finland.
